Gareth Johnson Limited was established in January 2000 to produce and manage productions in both the commercial and subsidised sectors, as well as offering general management and consultancy services for producing companies and producers, such as The GradeLinnit Company. Offices in Wales and London. Operates from Lee Menzies Ltd’s offices in London, for whom he acts as General Manager.

Works in a consultancy capacity with a number of producing managements and promoters, as well as organisations such as RADA and The Society of London Theatre. Ran a short course of lectures on the relationship between the Producer and the Director of theatre productions for RADA and Kings College London students annually 2006 – 2014.

Served on the list of National Advisers for the Arts Council of Wales 2002 – 2008.

Board of the leading UK Asian Theatre Company Tara Arts (Chair 2007-2009). Board member of the newly redeveloped Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan.

Member of The Society of London Theatre, and the UK Theatre.

Background:

Educated to ‘A’ Level, and accepted an offer to join Birmingham Repertory Theatre instead of starting a course at LAMDA. Worked as an Actor and Stage Manager for some years before joining Michael Codron Ltd as ASM. Stayed with that organisation for 25 years before leaving to run the Production Department of Stoll Moss Theatres and their ten West End Theatres for Nica Burns and Richard Johnston.
