Crazy For You

George and Ira Gershwin’s hit musical comedy is packed full of classic songs including “I Got Rhythm”, “Someone To Watch Over Me”, “Embraceable You” and “Nice Work If You Can Get It”. In the 2012 revival of the massive Broadway hit, director Timothy Sheader and choreographer Stephen Mear brought this classic story of love, theatre and dancing cowboys to the West End.

When Bobby Child’s banker mother forces him to foreclose on a theater (an action that would lose him the heart of his true love Polly), he decides to put on a play to pay the mortgage. Despite all the obstacles the show comes together, but will it be enough to save the theatre and win Polly’s heart?

This revival of Crazy For You was awarded with Olivier Awards for Best Musical Revival and Best Costume Design.
